QTPOC & Two-Spirit envisions creating a safe space for Queer Transgender People of Color & Two-Spirit communities of students on campus. This space will allow students of color of all queer identities to discuss their experiences, network and connect with other students, gain more academic experiences through attending academic conferences, workshops, and multicultural events, and have a place on campus to exist unapologetically and unafraid. The main goal of QTPOC & Two-Spirit is to empower queer students of color on campus and elevate their collegiate experience with exposure to academic events and discussions. Along with that, QTPOC & Two-Spirit will be a queer space created with the principles of intersectionality in mind.
